The Owner:

Pleasure to meet you!

My name is Nani, the face behind Leaf it to Nature. I was born and raised in East Africa as a mission kid and the oldest of six girls. Medicine wasn't exactly readily available, so we lived through many of the natural ways the native mamas taught my parents. I was also one of those kids who did nothing but make witchy soups out of hose water and random plants in the yard. Who would have thought it'd bring me here years later?

We moved to the United States when I was 14, but switching from an all-natural way of living to highly processed foods and western medicine was brutal. I watched as my family and I became sick all the time, gained an unnatural amount of weight, and had frequent trips to the doctors.

Diving into the world of organics and homegrown food in high school helped a bit, but there was so much we didn't know. After a long break of figuring out my next steps, taping back into my African beginning, I achieved my Associate degree in business in 2024. In 2025, I became a Gonstead chiropractic assistant, and began to fully chase after becoming a certified herbologist. I realized how few people know the elevating experience of being empowered by the very plants around us every day, and how it can heal us in ways modern medicine may not. And that was when Leaf it to Nature was born.
